The veterinary industry is a fast-paced, ever changing landscape with a constant introduction of new technologies, products and services for clinicians.
Clinics are also busier than ever, with record pet ownership and the pandemic changing the landscape of how clinics work. Many suppliers, including service providers and pharmaceutical manufacturers, have skilled workforces of vets and nurses providing product support.
This discussion looks at how suppliers and clinic teams can work together to facilitate improved patient outcomes through incorporating new products and technologies into the clinic, while not affecting hospital workflows and compromising vet and nurse time.

Adele graduated as a vet from the University of Adelaide, Australia in 2014 and has since worked in a range of roles across the veterinary industry. Starting out her career clinical practice, she worked as a small animal veterinarian in Melbourne as a veterinary associate and locum across Greencross clinics in the eastern suburbs.
Following this, Adele had the opportunity to work as a Technical Product Specialist for Cenvet Australia, a veterinary pharmaceutical wholesaler. This was a sales and technical support role which saw Adele work with the vet and sales teams supporting the exclusive product range.
After completing her MBA, her next role was with PETstock Vet as Veterinary Recruitment Specialist, helping develop their new graduate program and support brand awareness and recruitment across their clinics in Australia and New Zealand.
Adele now works in Business Development for iX Syrinx, a late stage pharmaceutical company manufacturing and supplying products globally.
