Christmas with pets can be chaotic. Curious cats hunting down tinsel, kids stealing and sharing chocolate, and ham-loving pups plotting their next illegal feast. Every December, veterinary teams quietly brace for the inevitable surge of holiday emergencies. But this year, the PetsApp pack has a festive solution that’s equal parts education and entertainment.
“A Christmas with Pets brings joy to the holidays - but it can also bring a fair share of trouble,” said PetsApp Co-Founder, CEO and Dad to Addy the cat. “From irresistible sparkly decorations to toxic seasonal treats, pets can get into mischief faster than Santa slides down a chimney! Our new game lets veterinary teams turn important safety tips into a playful way for clients to continue their learning at home, with their entire family through the joy of play.”
Featuring charming 8-bit graphics and bite-sized challenges, the game transforms pet safety into a nostalgic, fun filled, arcade style adventure. Players can choose to be Team Cat or Team Dog as they run and dodge their way through Christmas-themed hurdles; from falling food hazards to festive faux-pas, all while collecting power-ups that reinforce safe seasonal activities and pro-active health choices.
But this isn’t just a cute one-off. The PetsApp pack built the game to be a genuine educational tool that veterinary teams can share with clients in the waiting room, during consultations or even weave it into festive campaigns and social media coverage to raise awareness. What once was usually a quick seasonal lecture can now become a positive, fun way for the whole family to pass their time, while raising awareness with the most simple of measures to help protect more furry friends in a fun way. According to the British Veterinary Association (BVA), in a survey of UK companion-animal vets, “eight in ten” vets said they saw at least one case of toxic ingestion over the Christmas break.
“This game isn’t just cute, keeping Pets safe is something we as vets are committed to. Interactive games like this help empower pet owners and veterinary teams alike to feel more confident, without taking away the fun of the festive season.” added Dr. Thom.
The retro game is available now for everyone to play, no downloads needed, no fuss, just festive fun and a Christmas with PetsApp.
